Board Of Directors

Jordan Sills, President

I am involved with Hillel because I believe it is the best way to ensue the Jewish continuity in our community. Even though I did not go to college in SF, as a member of this community I am responsible for the rest of my community.

Adam Eisendrath

I believe in Hillel – the mission of serving students and giving them a Jewish home on campus. I love working for the community in a way that I can make the biggest impact on the people who will carry on the traditions, culture, religion and marry different ways of Jewish life.

Larry Stadtner

I accepted the invitation to join the San Francisco Hillel Board of Directors, as I know how important Hillel is to Jewish students on campus. Hillel serves as a connection to the Jewish world. Hillel is an important link between the Jewish world left behind at home and the Jewish world students will create once they leave college.

Rabbi Jay Miller

Hillel provides a place of comfort for those seeking a Jewish space within the community. In the facility and on campuses, all people are able to experience Judaism. My involvement on the San Francisco Hillel board enables me to interact with people and to share in the diversity of Jewish traditions.

Diane Marcus

I am a San Francisco Hillel Board of Directors Member so that I may connect with the future of our Jewish community – our Jewish students. My participation enables me to stay relevant with my connections in the Jewish community. To personally connect with a cross section of Jews who share my interest and passions for the Jewish community. I am working towards the betterment and fruition of all that SF Hillel envisions and aspires to. My dedication ensures that there is always a Hillel in San Francisco, to meet the needs of Jewish students, to be a home away from home.

Abra Annes Sills

I am on the San Francisco Hillel board because I had little to no connection to Hillel during my college experience and it was something I regret. I learned about the programs and the students’ passion for Hillel when I helped to organize a volunteer day with the SFJCF YAD and we repainted Hillel. I love that Hillel is an opportunity for young adults to explore and find Judaism on their own.

Dona Standel

As it changes here, you can see a thread that connects the students and their journeys. It is not a question of what brought me to SF Hillel or what will make me stay. The question is, why should I ever leave? I believe wholeheartedly in what we do and the identities we strengthen.

Sagi Cezana

My goal is to help SF Hillel provide aid and acceptance to Jewish students in college. Hillel needs to have a high enough profile on campus to reach even the shyest of students.

Brett Goldstein

I am proud to join the San Francisco Hillel board!  I firmly believe that SF Hillel represents a tremendous and unique opportunity to build a Jewish foundation with any of the 30,000 local college students who are interested to learn about Jewish culture and embrace Judaism.  The SF Hillel provides an outstanding framework for today's students to be the supporters and leaders of tomorrow's Jewish community.
